A Little About Me

I am a Toronto-based full-stack web developer with a background in front-end programming. I’m proficient at quickly identifying problems and planning out an efficient solution. My interests include gaming, which has strengthened my problem-solving skills, piano, which taught me how to read and understand unfamiliar concepts, and Japanese culture, which has shown me how to look at problems from a different angle.

A secret diary app that can detect what mood you're in. Keep the personal entries for yourself, or submit anonymously to share it with the world.

Built with Ruby on Rails, Capsule uses two APIs, Unsplash and Twinword Sentiment Analysis.

Twinword is a sentiment analysis program that can determine whether a passage of text is positive, negative, or neutral. Our app uses this API to create a background image (through Unsplash) based off of the mood of the user's entry.

Users can choose to set their entries to "Public", which anonymizes their entry and allows it to be displayed along with other public entries from other users.

Pandora Hearts Title Animation

Based on the JavaScript30 challenge #2, instead of creating an actual clock, it uses css to animate the different hour times.

The idea was based on the manga Pandora Hearts and the vector was created by Costmos Flurry at Deviant Art.
